in the ever-evolving landscape of labor markets and employment relations, it is imperative to compare and comprehend the labor law reforms in various countries. the legislative frameworks governing labor laws are largely shaped by the prevailing social and economic conditions within each nation. this lecture embarks on a comparative analysis of labor law reforms in two of the world's most populous and economically significant nations: india and china. over the past decades, these countries have undergone substantial transformations in their labor laws, yielding invaluable insights into the challenges and opportunities confronting labor law systems in an era of globalization.
the lecture delves into the commonalities and disparities within the labor law frameworks of these nations, encompassing topics such as employment contracts, wage regulations, and mechanisms for dispute resolution. through a comparison of the experiences of india and china, this lecture endeavors to illuminate the broader implications of labor law reforms in the context of deepening globalization and flourishing gig economy, providing participants with insights and reflections on the direction of future labor law reform.
在劳动力市场和就业关系不断发展的形势下,比较并理解各国的劳动法改革势在必行。劳动法的立法框架在很大程度上取决于每个国家的普遍社会和经济条件。本讲座对世界上人口最多、经济最重要的两个国家——印度和中国的劳动法改革进行了比较分析。在过去的几十年里,这些国家的劳动法发生了重大变革,这为我们理解全球化时代劳动法体系面临的挑战和机遇提供了宝贵的经验与见解。

个人简介:法学博士,法学副教授。现任德里国立法律大学法律教育与研究部副教授、德里国立法律大学治理透明度与问责制中心主任、期刊international journal of transparency and accountability in governance执行主编、中印联合研究项目sparc-iitk人力资源开发部首席研究员等。研究方向为劳动法、行政法等。曾在journal of indian law institute, the scc, labour law journal等国际期刊发表论文70余篇。出版专著5部。曾于2018年在华南理工大学法学院、2019年在北京师范大学法学院做访问学者。参与国内和国际会议50余场。
