on september 11, renmin university of china held the 2024 teachers' day commendation ceremony, recognizing exemplary groups and individuals who have made significant contributions over the past year in talent cultivation, scientific research, university administration, and social service. several faculty members and teams from the school of labor and human resources were among those honored.

professor zheng gongcheng received the 2023 beijing outstanding graduate advisor award. professor zhou wenxia was awarded the dahua award for outstanding teaching contribution by renmin university. the team led by associate professor liu kai won the first prize for teaching innovation. associate professor weng qian received the highest distinction, the grand prize for outstanding research achievements. assistant professor chen zeyang was awarded the second prize for outstanding research achievements. the institute for employment and welfare studies was recognized as an outstanding group for think tank work, and professor guo yu was awarded the title of outstanding individual in think tank work.
